Montenegro -Bosnië Herzegovina - Kroatië
Omschrijving:
Dag iedereen,
De vakantie is weer in aantocht en dat wil zeggen een reisje in het vooruitzicht. Wat heb ik er weer zin in!
Deze keer zijn het 3 landen: Montenegro, Bosnië Herzegovina en Kroatië.
Op in 1 juli vertrek ik en op 15 juli ben ik terug in ons belgiëen landje.
Hieronder al een tipje van de sluier.
Dag 1 - 3
Naar de meest zuidelijke fjord van Europa
Vanuit Tivat nemen we de bus naar Kotor. Deze stad ligt aan de meest zuidelijke fjord van Europa en is omringd door adembenemende rotsformaties. We beklimmen de oude fortificatie en varen naar Perast, een typisch mediterraan dorpje wat verder in de baai. Een duik in het water kan ook.
Dag 4 - 5
Trektocht in Nationaal Park Durmitor
We trekken naar Zabljak en houden onderweg halt bij de 150 m hoge Tarabrug. De stad Zabljak ligt op 1.465 m en is tevens de toegangspoort tot het Durmitor N.P., een door UNESCO beschermd nationaal park met pieken van meer dan 2.000 m. 1 of 2 pittige dagtochten brengen ons langs prachtige meren, kille ijsgrotten en weelderige bossen.j
Dag 6 - 9
Het binnenland van Bosnië-Herzegovina
Sarajevo is een stad met karakter en een geschiedenis die weinigen onberoerd heeft gelaten. Een 10-tal jaar na de grote belegering van Sarajevo zie je op enkele plaatsen nog de uiterlijke littekens van de oorlog. Ook zijn er nog heel wat herinneringen aan deze moeilijke periode. We bezoeken het historische museum, deels gewijd aan de oorlog, en de tunnel die tijdens de belegering de enige, relatief veilige uitweg was uit de stad. Sarajevo verlaten we niet zonder rond te dwalen in Bascarsija, de oude Turkse wijk of een Bosnische koffie te drinken op één van de vele pleinen. Tijdens een dagtocht doorheen de Dinarische Alpen vangen we een glimp op van het leven op het Bosnische platteland: de typische klederdracht, architectuur, keuken, …
Dag 10 - 13
Van Mostar tot de Kravicewatervallen
Onderweg naar Mostar gaan we een dag raften op de Neretvarivier, categorie 2 tot 3. In Mostar zelf bezoeken we de Stari Most. Deze bekende middeleeuwse brug werd tijdens de oorlog volledig vernietigd en in 2004 heropgebouwd in zijn originele stijl. Tijdens de tocht van Mostar naar Dubrovnik, bezoeken we Medugorje, dé pelgrimsplaats bij uitstek en vervolgens Pocitelj, één van Herzegovina‘s Ottomaanse pareltjes. We nemen een duik in de Kravicewatervallen, ook wel gekend als de ’mini Niagara Falls‘ en rijden daarna door naar Dubrovnik.
Dag 14 - 15
Dubrovnik
Eindigen doen we in Dubrovnik, de parel van de Adriatische Zee. We zoeken het ommuurde centrum op en zwerven door smalle straatjes, slenteren langs de typische patriciërshuizen en bezoeken enkele historische monumenten.

Omschrijving:
Dag iedereen,
De vakantie is weer in aantocht en dat wil zeggen een reisje in het vooruitzicht. Wat heb ik er weer zin in!
Deze keer zijn het 3 landen: Montenegro, Bosnië Herzegovina en Kroatië.
Op in 1 juli vertrek ik en op 15 juli ben ik terug in ons belgiëen landje.
Hieronder al een tipje van de sluier.
Dag 1 - 3
Naar de meest zuidelijke fjord van Europa
Vanuit Tivat nemen we de bus naar Kotor. Deze stad ligt aan de meest zuidelijke fjord van Europa en is omringd door adembenemende rotsformaties. We beklimmen de oude fortificatie en varen naar Perast, een typisch mediterraan dorpje wat verder in de baai. Een duik in het water kan ook.
Dag 4 - 5
Trektocht in Nationaal Park Durmitor
We trekken naar Zabljak en houden onderweg halt bij de 150 m hoge Tarabrug. De stad Zabljak ligt op 1.465 m en is tevens de toegangspoort tot het Durmitor N.P., een door UNESCO beschermd nationaal park met pieken van meer dan 2.000 m. 1 of 2 pittige dagtochten brengen ons langs prachtige meren, kille ijsgrotten en weelderige bossen.j
Dag 6 - 9
Het binnenland van Bosnië-Herzegovina
Sarajevo is een stad met karakter en een geschiedenis die weinigen onberoerd heeft gelaten. Een 10-tal jaar na de grote belegering van Sarajevo zie je op enkele plaatsen nog de uiterlijke littekens van de oorlog. Ook zijn er nog heel wat herinneringen aan deze moeilijke periode. We bezoeken het historische museum, deels gewijd aan de oorlog, en de tunnel die tijdens de belegering de enige, relatief veilige uitweg was uit de stad. Sarajevo verlaten we niet zonder rond te dwalen in Bascarsija, de oude Turkse wijk of een Bosnische koffie te drinken op één van de vele pleinen. Tijdens een dagtocht doorheen de Dinarische Alpen vangen we een glimp op van het leven op het Bosnische platteland: de typische klederdracht, architectuur, keuken, …
Dag 10 - 13
Van Mostar tot de Kravicewatervallen
Onderweg naar Mostar gaan we een dag raften op de Neretvarivier, categorie 2 tot 3. In Mostar zelf bezoeken we de Stari Most. Deze bekende middeleeuwse brug werd tijdens de oorlog volledig vernietigd en in 2004 heropgebouwd in zijn originele stijl. Tijdens de tocht van Mostar naar Dubrovnik, bezoeken we Medugorje, dé pelgrimsplaats bij uitstek en vervolgens Pocitelj, één van Herzegovina‘s Ottomaanse pareltjes. We nemen een duik in de Kravicewatervallen, ook wel gekend als de ’mini Niagara Falls‘ en rijden daarna door naar Dubrovnik.
Dag 14 - 15
Dubrovnik
Eindigen doen we in Dubrovnik, de parel van de Adriatische Zee. We zoeken het ommuurde centrum op en zwerven door smalle straatjes, slenteren langs de typische patriciërshuizen en bezoeken enkele historische monumenten.

Dag iedereen,
De vakantie is weer in aantocht en dat wil zeggen een reisje in het vooruitzicht. Wat heb ik er weer zin in!
Deze keer zijn het 3 landen: Montenegro, Bosnië Herzegovina en Kroatië.
Op in 1 juli vertrek ik en op 15 juli ben ik terug in ons belgiëen landje.
Hieronder al een tipje van de sluier.
Dag 1 - 3
Naar de meest zuidelijke fjord van Europa
Vanuit Tivat nemen we de bus naar Kotor. Deze stad ligt aan de meest zuidelijke fjord van Europa en is omringd door adembenemende rotsformaties. We beklimmen de oude fortificatie en varen naar Perast, een typisch mediterraan dorpje wat verder in de baai. Een duik in het water kan ook.
Dag 4 - 5
Trektocht in Nationaal Park Durmitor
We trekken naar Zabljak en houden onderweg halt bij de 150 m hoge Tarabrug. De stad Zabljak ligt op 1.465 m en is tevens de toegangspoort tot het Durmitor N.P., een door UNESCO beschermd nationaal park met pieken van meer dan 2.000 m. 1 of 2 pittige dagtochten brengen ons langs prachtige meren, kille ijsgrotten en weelderige bossen.j
Dag 6 - 9
Het binnenland van Bosnië-Herzegovina
Sarajevo is een stad met karakter en een geschiedenis die weinigen onberoerd heeft gelaten. Een 10-tal jaar na de grote belegering van Sarajevo zie je op enkele plaatsen nog de uiterlijke littekens van de oorlog. Ook zijn er nog heel wat herinneringen aan deze moeilijke periode. We bezoeken het historische museum, deels gewijd aan de oorlog, en de tunnel die tijdens de belegering de enige, relatief veilige uitweg was uit de stad. Sarajevo verlaten we niet zonder rond te dwalen in Bascarsija, de oude Turkse wijk of een Bosnische koffie te drinken op één van de vele pleinen. Tijdens een dagtocht doorheen de Dinarische Alpen vangen we een glimp op van het leven op het Bosnische platteland: de typische klederdracht, architectuur, keuken, …
Dag 10 - 13
Van Mostar tot de Kravicewatervallen
Onderweg naar Mostar gaan we een dag raften op de Neretvarivier, categorie 2 tot 3. In Mostar zelf bezoeken we de Stari Most. Deze bekende middeleeuwse brug werd tijdens de oorlog volledig vernietigd en in 2004 heropgebouwd in zijn originele stijl. Tijdens de tocht van Mostar naar Dubrovnik, bezoeken we Medugorje, dé pelgrimsplaats bij uitstek en vervolgens Pocitelj, één van Herzegovina‘s Ottomaanse pareltjes. We nemen een duik in de Kravicewatervallen, ook wel gekend als de ’mini Niagara Falls‘ en rijden daarna door naar Dubrovnik.
Dag 14 - 15
Dubrovnik
Eindigen doen we in Dubrovnik, de parel van de Adriatische Zee. We zoeken het ommuurde centrum op en zwerven door smalle straatjes, slenteren langs de typische patriciërshuizen en bezoeken enkele historische monumenten.

Omschrijving:
Dag iedereen,
De vakantie is weer in aantocht en dat wil zeggen een reisje in het vooruitzicht. Wat heb ik er weer zin in!
Deze keer zijn het 3 landen: Montenegro, Bosnië Herzegovina en Kroatië.
Op in 1 juli vertrek ik en op 15 juli ben ik terug in ons belgiëen landje.
Hieronder al een tipje van de sluier.
Dag 1 - 3
Naar de meest zuidelijke fjord van Europa
Vanuit Tivat nemen we de bus naar Kotor. Deze stad ligt aan de meest zuidelijke fjord van Europa en is omringd door adembenemende rotsformaties. We beklimmen de oude fortificatie en varen naar Perast, een typisch mediterraan dorpje wat verder in de baai. Een duik in het water kan ook.
Dag 4 - 5
Trektocht in Nationaal Park Durmitor
We trekken naar Zabljak en houden onderweg halt bij de 150 m hoge Tarabrug. De stad Zabljak ligt op 1.465 m en is tevens de toegangspoort tot het Durmitor N.P., een door UNESCO beschermd nationaal park met pieken van meer dan 2.000 m. 1 of 2 pittige dagtochten brengen ons langs prachtige meren, kille ijsgrotten en weelderige bossen.j
Dag 6 - 9
Het binnenland van Bosnië-Herzegovina
Sarajevo is een stad met karakter en een geschiedenis die weinigen onberoerd heeft gelaten. Een 10-tal jaar na de grote belegering van Sarajevo zie je op enkele plaatsen nog de uiterlijke littekens van de oorlog. Ook zijn er nog heel wat herinneringen aan deze moeilijke periode. We bezoeken het historische museum, deels gewijd aan de oorlog, en de tunnel die tijdens de belegering de enige, relatief veilige uitweg was uit de stad. Sarajevo verlaten we niet zonder rond te dwalen in Bascarsija, de oude Turkse wijk of een Bosnische koffie te drinken op één van de vele pleinen. Tijdens een dagtocht doorheen de Dinarische Alpen vangen we een glimp op van het leven op het Bosnische platteland: de typische klederdracht, architectuur, keuken, …
Dag 10 - 13
Van Mostar tot de Kravicewatervallen
Onderweg naar Mostar gaan we een dag raften op de Neretvarivier, categorie 2 tot 3. In Mostar zelf bezoeken we de Stari Most. Deze bekende middeleeuwse brug werd tijdens de oorlog volledig vernietigd en in 2004 heropgebouwd in zijn originele stijl. Tijdens de tocht van Mostar naar Dubrovnik, bezoeken we Medugorje, dé pelgrimsplaats bij uitstek en vervolgens Pocitelj, één van Herzegovina‘s Ottomaanse pareltjes. We nemen een duik in de Kravicewatervallen, ook wel gekend als de ’mini Niagara Falls‘ en rijden daarna door naar Dubrovnik.
Dag 14 - 15
Dubrovnik
Eindigen doen we in Dubrovnik, de parel van de Adriatische Zee. We zoeken het ommuurde centrum op en zwerven door smalle straatjes, slenteren langs de typische patriciërshuizen en bezoeken enkele historische monumenten.

De vakantie is weer in aantocht en dat wil zeggen een reisje in het vooruitzicht. Wat heb ik er weer zin in!
Deze keer zijn het 3 landen: Montenegro, Bosnië Herzegovina en Kroatië.
Op in 1 juli vertrek ik en op 15 juli ben ik terug in ons belgiëen landje.
Hieronder al een tipje van de sluier.
Dag 1 - 3
Naar de meest zuidelijke fjord van Europa
Vanuit Tivat nemen we de bus naar Kotor. Deze stad ligt aan de meest zuidelijke fjord van Europa en is omringd door adembenemende rotsformaties. We beklimmen de oude fortificatie en varen naar Perast, een typisch mediterraan dorpje wat verder in de baai. Een duik in het water kan ook.
Dag 4 - 5
Trektocht in Nationaal Park Durmitor
We trekken naar Zabljak en houden onderweg halt bij de 150 m hoge Tarabrug. De stad Zabljak ligt op 1.465 m en is tevens de toegangspoort tot het Durmitor N.P., een door UNESCO beschermd nationaal park met pieken van meer dan 2.000 m. 1 of 2 pittige dagtochten brengen ons langs prachtige meren, kille ijsgrotten en weelderige bossen.j
Dag 6 - 9
Het binnenland van Bosnië-Herzegovina
Sarajevo is een stad met karakter en een geschiedenis die weinigen onberoerd heeft gelaten. Een 10-tal jaar na de grote belegering van Sarajevo zie je op enkele plaatsen nog de uiterlijke littekens van de oorlog. Ook zijn er nog heel wat herinneringen aan deze moeilijke periode. We bezoeken het historische museum, deels gewijd aan de oorlog, en de tunnel die tijdens de belegering de enige, relatief veilige uitweg was uit de stad. Sarajevo verlaten we niet zonder rond te dwalen in Bascarsija, de oude Turkse wijk of een Bosnische koffie te drinken op één van de vele pleinen. Tijdens een dagtocht doorheen de Dinarische Alpen vangen we een glimp op van het leven op het Bosnische platteland: de typische klederdracht, architectuur, keuken, …
Dag 10 - 13
Van Mostar tot de Kravicewatervallen
Onderweg naar Mostar gaan we een dag raften op de Neretvarivier, categorie 2 tot 3. In Mostar zelf bezoeken we de Stari Most. Deze bekende middeleeuwse brug werd tijdens de oorlog volledig vernietigd en in 2004 heropgebouwd in zijn originele stijl. Tijdens de tocht van Mostar naar Dubrovnik, bezoeken we Medugorje, dé pelgrimsplaats bij uitstek en vervolgens Pocitelj, één van Herzegovina‘s Ottomaanse pareltjes. We nemen een duik in de Kravicewatervallen, ook wel gekend als de ’mini Niagara Falls‘ en rijden daarna door naar Dubrovnik.
Dag 14 - 15
Dubrovnik
Eindigen doen we in Dubrovnik, de parel van de Adriatische Zee. We zoeken het ommuurde centrum op en zwerven door smalle straatjes, slenteren langs de typische patriciërshuizen en bezoeken enkele historische monumenten.
